I'm Coming Undone

This took a while today but passed the time.
I was listening to Coming Undone by Korn and the lyrics made me want to do the souls in her scythe escaping (don't think it happens in the story yet though.) after listening carefully to the lyrics...
Wanted to go for something different to usual.
Ai again, now with comfirmed information for those who don't know much about her.

Name: Ai
Age Unknown, looks about 13 or 14
Likes Candy and snacks, particularly chocolate pocky, Plushies and her scythe.
Dislikes: Arrogance, liars.

There was a clan of people in the underworld who were put at peace. The clan got along with one another, but they were gifted. They could use powers and talk to spirits. Even capable of seeing into the future in some cases. But they were not bad demons. All were, apart from one girl. She was a half-demon, her genes having traces of a normal human in as well. She was usually accepted among the other demons, maybye the occasional joke about her being part human. Until one day, an evil aura took over the underworld, possessing any demon it could grab. Soon enough, Ai's clan was not at peace. There was fighting and nobody was who they used to be. Except for the half demon. The clan was taken over by several days before the leader had told Ai the charm on her scythe was capable of saving their world- The leader knew this evil was coming, but had to keep a low profile. Once Ai was told that her loved ones were soon to turn against her, she had known she had no choice.


Ai left to the normal world, but soon enough they sent other demons and monsters out to get her. Having no choice, she had to fight them, but she found the charm on her scythe could absorb and store any souls defeated- only the evil ones. She can purify simple demons, but some are too powerful for her yet to purify, but for the time-being, they have to stay under her control, stored away in the charm ("soul taker") on her scythe. The more Soul Concentration (amount of souls stored in the soul catcher) the stronger her scythe becomes, and of course the stronger her scythe is, the more defence she has against enemies. Her aim is to rid the world of the demons after her, and finally to put an end to the dark energy possessing her clan. Ai is the only human who can resist the energy because she is only half demon and not full, meaning the evil did not affect her.
